Planning Applications
The majority of residential extensions will need planning permission. Bright Architecture have gained 50+ approvals in the last three years from small developments, one off dwellings and a large amount of side and rear extensions. When submitting an application, as the architects, Bright Architecture will first visit the site to understand the context and the initial brief. Then the first set of preliminary plans can be drawn up for client comments and approval. Once a proposal is agreed Bright Architecture will provide the necessary site plans and supplementary planning statements before submitting an application on your behalf and monitoring the application throughout the 8 week determination period.

Bright Architecture specialise in taking projects from planning approvals ready to being built onsite, providing working drawings sufficient to obtain building control full plans approval ensuring all details have been thoroughly agreed prior to construction on site. As the architects Bright Architecture will provide working plans, elevations and sections along with the specification for your builder to price from. Bright Architecture will also liaise with third party consultants to ensure all aspects of the project are co-ordinated prior to construction, e.g. structural engineer, acoustician, party wall surveyor, piling contractor, stair specialist etc.
